Ruling
1.The convict was sentenced to serve nine (9) months imprisonment for the offence of burglary contrary to section 304 (2) and stealing contrary to section 279(B) of the Penal Code. This was on 15th April, 2024. He has served 8 months in prison.
2.In the spirit of prison decongestion, as the convict has one about ten days remaining to complete sentence, unless otherwise lawfully held, he is hereby se at liberty and sentence considered to be fully served.
