IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 53(1) of the Banking Act, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning exempts Absa Bank Kenya Plc from the provisions of section 12(a) and 12(c) of the Banking Act, for a period not exceeding five years with effect from the 1st February, 2024.
