IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 9(2) and 15(2) of the Births and Deaths Registration Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration declares that the registration of the births and deaths of all inhabitants of the remaining non-compulsory areas within the Republic of Kenya is compulsory with effect from 1st September, 1971.
