1. Citation

These Rules may be cited as the Advocates (Practising Certificate) (Fees) Rules, 2024.

2. Fees for certificated under section 26 of Advocates Act

The fees payable for a practising certificate issued to an advocate under section 26(2) of the Advocates Act shall be a specified in the Schedule hereto.

3. Remittance of fees

The fees payable under these Rules shall be paid to the Society in accordance with the provisions of section 84 of the Advocates Act.

4. Revocation of L.N. No. 193 of 2003

The Advocates (Practising Certificate) (Fees) Rules, 2002 are revoked.
