EXTENSION FOR THE DECLARATION OF PARTS OF KILIFI COUNTY AS A DISTURBED AREA

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 106 (1) of the National Police Service Act (Cap. 84) the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, has by this extension instrument, declared the following part of Kilifi County as a disturbed area namely—

1. MALINDI SUB-COUNTY

Lango Baya DivisionChakama LocationThe whole of Chakama Ranch identified in the Registry Index map as L.R. No. 13472/1 comprising of 20,418 Ha.This Extension notice shall take effect from 25th Day of May, 2023 from 6.00 p.m. for a period of Thirty (30) days and may be withdrawn or continue in force for such further period as the Cabinet Secretary may, in each case, by notice in the Gazette, direct.
