THE PUBLIC ORDER (STATE CURFEW) KILIFI COUNTY CURFEW ORDER, NO. 1 OF 2023

1. Citation

This Order may be cited as the Public Order (State Curfew) (Restriction of Movement) No. 1 of 2023.

2. Application

This Order shall apply mutatis mutandis in the following specified area within Kilifi County, Malindi Sub-County, Lango Baya Division comprising of:
(i)Chakama Ranch and its boundaries identified as L.R. No. 13472/1 measuring 20,418 Ha. in Chakama Location.

3. Curfew Period

This Order shall take effect from 25th April, 2023 commencing at 6.00 p.m. in the evening up to 6.00 a.m. in the morning and shall remain in force for a period of thirty (30) days thereof.

4. Restriction

Under this Order, there shall be no public gatherings, processions or movement either alone or as a group during the period of curfew into and out of Chakama Ranch except as shall be permitted, in writing, by the County Police Commander.
