1.This Order may be cited as the Kenya Glass Workers Union (Deduction of Agency Fees) Order.
2.Impala Glass Industries Limited shall—
(a)deduct the sum specified in the Schedule from the wages of each employee who is not a member of the Kenya Glass Workers Union or any other trade union but is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement registered by the Employment and Labour Relations Court as RCA No. 55 of 2021 on the 17th June, 2021;
(b)pay, within ten days, the sums deducted under paragraph (a) by crossed cheque or electronic fund transfer payable to the Kenya Glass Workers Union, account number 0350298772797 at Equity Bank, KNUT House Branch, Nairobi;
(c)commence deduction of the agency fees within thirty days of being served with this Order by the trade union;
(d)notify the trade union in writing within one month of payment; and
(e)file returns with the Registrar of Trade Unions at P.O. Box 40326-00100, Nairobi, within one month of making all the pay ments to the trade union.

SCHEDULE

SUM DEDUCTIBLE

A sum equal to two percent of the basic salary of an employee but subject to a maximum of five hundred shillings every month.
