1. Citation

This Order may be cited as the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (Deduction of Agency Fee) Order.

2. Deduction

The Siaya County Public Service Board shall —
(a)deduct, on a monthly basis, the sum specified in the Schedule from the basic salary of each unionisable employee who is not a member of the the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union or any other trade union but is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement registered by the Employment and Labour Relations Court at as RCA. No. 212 of 2017;
(b)commence deduction of the agency fees within thirty days of being served with this Order by the trade union;
(c)remit, within ten days of the date of deduction, the sums deducted under paragraph (a) by crossed cheque or electronic fund transfer payable to Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union, account number 01022019432900 at the Standard Chartered Bank, Harambee Avenue Branch, Nairobi;
(d)notify the trade union, in writing, within one month of the payment; and
(e)file returns with the Registrar of Trade Unions at P.O. Box 40326-00100, Nairobi, within one month of making all the payments to the trade union.

SCHEDULE

SUM DEDUCTIBLE

A sum of Ksh. 3000 of each employee's Basic Salary per month.
