| I. Instructions. Section 3 must be completed where the applicant is married. |
| 2. Photographs. Two copies of passport size photographs of the applicant taken not earlier than 6 months from the time of application, which must be taken full face without headgear. The photographs must be printed on normal thin photographic paper. |
| 3. Offices. Application for a passport must be submitted personally by the applicant to the Passport Control Office at least 20 days before the scheduled date of travel. Forms may be downloaded from www.immigration.go.ke. |
4.Overseas Applicants: A passport cannot he issued or renewed by a Passport Control Officer on behalf of a person already abroad. Such persons should apply to the nearest Kenya Mission abroad or, where there is no Kenya representative, to the nearest United Kingdom Mission. Passports are not sent out of Kenya by Post.5.Requirements. All applications must be accompanied by a previous passport, if any, and valid Kenya national Identity Card, Birth Certificates/Adoption certificate of the applicant, Certificate of Registration or Naturalization or Service identity cards for members of the Defense Force, in case of a child or person with disability written consent from the parent or legal guardian plus certified photocopies of each.6.Lost, Mutilated, Damaged Passports. CLASSES OF PERMITS
Class A: Prospecting and mining
A person who intends to engage, whether alone or in partnership, in prospecting for minerals or mining in Kenya, and who—(a)has obtained, prospecting or mining right or licence that may be necessary for the purpose; and(b)has in his own right and at his full and free disposition sufficient capital and other resources for the purpose; and(c)whose engagement in the prospecting or mining will be of benefit to Kenya.Class B: Agriculture and animal husbandry
A person who intends to engage, whether alone or in partnership, in the business of agriculture or animal husbandry in Kenya, and who—(a)has acquired, or has received all permissions that may be necessary in order to acquire, an interest in land of sufficient size and suitability for the purpose; and(b)has in his own right and at his full and free disposition sufficient capital and other resources for the purpose.And whose engagement in that business will be of benefit to Kenya.Class C: Prescribed profession

PERSONS EXEMPTED FROM OBTAINING eTA
