THE REVISION OF THE LAWS ORDER

1.This Order may be cited as the Revision of the Laws Order, 1989.
2.The eighteenth annual supplement to the Laws of Kenya prepared under section 7 of the Act shall come into operation on the 1st May, 1989.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE OF SUPPLEMENT

1.(1) The eighteenth annual supplement comprises the following new booklets which should be inserted in appropriate alphabetical sequence in the volumes of the Laws of Kenya—
(a)fifteen new revised chapters namely Nos. 8, 22, 38, 84, 103, 107, 113, 128, 143, 170, 236, 251, 359, 382 and 403;
(b)chapters 4, 4A, 214, 487 and 513 which are incorporated in the Laws for the first time;
(c)a new revised accumulative index containing a complete noter up of the Laws as at 1st January, 1988 and including a supplement to the chronological table;
(d)a new revised table of contents including a separate table of omitted Acts.
(2)All of the new revised editions referred to in subparagraph (1) are up-to-date as at the 1st January. 1988.
2.As the new booklets are inserted in the volumes, the following booklets should be removed and stored for future reference—
(a)chapters 8, 22, 84, 103, 107, 113, 128, 143, 170, 214, 236, 251, 382, 359, 403, 487;
(b)chapters 4 and 513 which have been repealed or replaced;
(c)the old table of contents and index.
3.The Government Printer will supply the eighteenth annual supplement at a total cost of Sh. 1,185.80.
