THE REVISION OF THE LAWS ORDER

1.This Order may be cited as the Revision of the Laws Order, 1985.
2.The second part of the Fourteenth Annual Supplement to the Laws of Kenya prepared under section 7 of the Act shall come into force on the 1st November, 1985.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE OF SUPPLEMENT

1.The second part of fourteenth annual supplement comprises the following new booklets—
(a)27 new revised chapters namely Nos. 113, 172, 179, 213, 217, 220, 226, 232, 233, 266, 270, 272, 273, 280, 309, 310, 311, 336, 362, 373, 402, 406, 482, 491, 515, 529 and 531;
(b)chapters 215 and 216 which are incorporated in the laws for the first time;
(c)a new revised accumulative index containing a complete noter up of the laws as at lst January, 1984;
(d)a new revised table of contents including a separate table of omitted Acts;
2.As the new booklets are inserted in the volumes the following booklets should be removed and stored for future reference—
(a)chapters 113, 172, 179, 213 217, 220, 226, 232, 233, 266, 270, 272, 273, 280, 309, 310, 311, 336, 362, 373, 402, 406, 482, 491, 515, 529 and 531, which have been newly revised.
(b)chapters 215, 216 and 528, which have been replaced or repealed;
(c)the old table of contents and index.
4.The Government Printer will supply the fourteenth annual supplement complete to persons not entitled to a free supplement at a total cost of Sh. 800.Explanatory Note:-The first part of the fourteenth annual supplement comprising chapter 472 was published on the 26th October, 1984, and Legal Notice No. 172 of 1984.
