1.These Regulations may be cited as the Meat Control (Inspection Fees) Regulations.
2.There shall be paid in respect of inspection of animals slaughtered and inspected in any abattoir, slaughterhouse or any other place declared to be a slaughterhouse for the purposes of the Meat Control (Export Slaughterhouse) Regulations, 1973 (L.N. 213/1973), and the Meat Control (Local Slaughterhouses) Regulations, 1973 (L.N. 214/1973), an inspection fee at the following rates per animal—
 Shcts.
(a) cattle ...................................10000
(b) calves ...................................2500
(c) sheep ...................................2500
(d) goats ...................................2500
(e) pigs ......................................2500
(f) Poultry .................................200
(g) rabbits .................................200
(h) camels .................................10000
3. The inspection fee shall be paid to the inspecting officer at the time of inspection.
